- Have you checked the settings in Control Panel/Ports/Settings/Advanced? The
- address and IRQ settings must be accurate. Also, Windows has a bit of a
- problem recognizing COM 4 if COM 3 is not in use. However there is a work
- around to disable a nonexistent COM 3 if you're using COM 4.
